Konsert med Joakim Lund & Olav Dale Fredag 26. oktober
Once in a blue Moon….
Konserten starter kl. 21:00, fredag 26. oktober i Haugesund Folkebibliotek
Alle er Hjertelig Velkommen!

World Premier of New Music Video – Blue Moon by Joakim Lund
“Blue Moon” is a classic popular song. It was written by Richard Rodgers and Lorenz Hart in 1934, and has become a standard ballad. The song has been covered as a released single by artists such as Billie Holiday, Mel Torme, Elvis Presley and now by Joakim Lund.
This version was recorded during my summer travels in Bulgaria, with a little help from Garageband. I hope you enjoy the song and also the digital artwork all made by me.
Brand New Postcards 2012
Marilyn Monroe – 50 years since her sudden death
I had to make a tribute to Marilyn Monroe. As all Norwegians know, her father came from just outside my home town of Haugesund. The city has also the only statue of Miss Monroe in the world, made out of bronze of the norwegian sculpturer Nils Aas.
She was the girl that got away. She disappeared from it all now 50 years ago. So I made this artwork that is named “The Disappearance Act”

Drawings from The Diamond Jubelee of Queen Elisabeth II
The Diamond Jubilee of Queen Elizabeth II is a multinational celebration throughout 2012 marking the 60th anniversary of the accession of Queen Elizabeth II to the thrones of seven countries upon the death of her father, King George VI, on 6 February 1952. She is today queen regnant of 16 sovereign states, 12 of which were British colonies or Dominions at the start of her reign.
I was in London the weekend before the Jubelee weekend, and it was amazing how many books, magazines and all sorts of merchandise the british have made for the jubelee.
I just had to do some scetches from some of the magaziens. Here are some of the results:
Digital Printmaking in Tampere, Finland
This summer I have been working with my digital prints on the computer, but also printed some of them in large scale.
The most perfect choice for printing my artwork was Tuula Lehtinens studio in Tampere, Finland. She has a fantastic EPSON printer that can gives my artwork the best finish one can get. And the paper is Hahnemühle. The artwork will be for sale from august 2012.
